On this Teachers’ Day, I want to tell you, dear teacher, how deeply grateful I am to have been born and to have the chance to be your student. Through meeting you, I came to know meditation, learned how to care for the heart, and discovered true joy and inner peace.
After going through so many experiences in life, I have come to truly realise this: what you have taught us and what you have guided us to practise gentle acts of giving, profound meditation, care for the heart, speaking goodness, and shaping our own lives with intention are the most valuable gifts of all, far beyond wealth or possessions.
I have come to deeply under stand what it truly means to be happy from this very moment onward, even while facing difficult situations that once would have caused great suffering. Because of you, I have seen a wider world. I have travelled to places I would never have imagined, places I would never have reached if you had not invited and guided me. Without you, my life would have remained small and limited, simply because I did not yet know what was possible.
If I had never met you, these extraordinary and miraculous moments would never have happened in my life. Even now, as I write this, my heart is filled with joy, and my eyes are quietly filled with tears.
Before anything else, I want you to know this: I love you, dear teacher. I love you with a pure and sincere heart. I bow in deep gratitude and thank you for everything you have given me.And if, along the way, I have ever made mistakes through my actions, words, or thoughts, whether intentionally or unintentionally, whether in front of you or behind your back I humbly ask for your forgiveness.
May you be filled with great happiness, the greatest happiness in the world. And may every goal and intention you hold in your heart be fulfilled exactly as you wish, in every way.
With love, reverence, and deepest gratitude,
Sunyawat Srisuriyapapar
